Got a call from my sister a little while ago, that one of our dogs (Nikki) had gone into heart failure and they were going to have to put her down. Apparently it happened within like 20 min, so they were already at the vet when they called. Unfortunately, since I live an hr away, I wasn’t able to get back to my mom’s house to say goodbye one last time. At least I got to see her at Easter and got to hear her squeals of excitement when I came home. (I’m the only one she squeals for when someone walks in the house)

That really sucks. At least you got to see her 1 last time though. RIP Oppo Dog.

Sorry to hear it, man. I know the feels. My cat was put down last fall about a month before I was supposed to fly back to Arizona to visit, and seeing him again was one of the things I was most excited for. Pets are the best, but losing them is the worst.

Sorry to hear that. Our Pit Laboxer is having some respitory problems at the moment, so we don’t know how much longer she has. It sucks.

Man I feel this with you, the dogs I grew up with both passed while I was away at school. The first from old age and the second had cancer and died 2 weeks later. The two were inseperable...
